Board recognizes Riverton High senior for biliteracy and hears Key Club convention report

The board recognized Riverton High School senior Rosalinda Ramos as the district’s first recipient of the Wyoming Seal of Biliteracy with advanced distinction for demonstrated proficiency in English and Spanish. Alicia Sears (speaker 6) introduced the recognition and noted that Ramos exceeded assessment criteria in both languages; family members were present and trustees offered congratulations.
The board also heard a debrief from Key Club officers Cassie Shields (speaker 10) and Quenal Davis (speaker 12) about a Rocky Mountain District convention attended by 10 members. Shields said the club won the Diamond Distinguished Award for the third year in a row and described leadership workshops and service opportunities that benefit club members and the community.
