The Hendricks County Council unanimously adopted an Emergency Appropriation Ordinance on March 17 approving 20 additional appropriation line items spanning multiple departments and voided three Parks & Recreation entries previously advertised under the wrong fund.
Auditor Ann Stark explained items 15–17 had been advertised and adopted in February under fund 1001 but should have been under fund 4806; she asked the council to void the February approvals and adopt the March appropriations under the correct fund. Dave Cox moved to approve items 1–20 and Nancy Marsh seconded; Cox amended his motion to include voiding the three February Parks & Rec items and Marsh seconded the amendment. The consolidated motion passed 7‑0.
Selected adopted items included: Weights & Measures services and charges $642; multiple Probation personal services entries (examples listed in the ordinance include line amounts of $6,775; $5,820; $2,165; $6,647; and other similar personal services adjustments); Work Release personal services entries of $1,040 each; Courts personal services $2,663; and three Parks & Rec personal services lines that were reallocated to fund 4806 (each shown as negative adjustments under 4806 to correct prior advertising). The meeting record lists each line and amount adopted in the ordinance.
