She reported recent maintenance work, coordination with the fire marshal on safety items, and a benchmarking visit to the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds to learn operating procedures and event calendars.
Board members asked for vendor references and for links to vendor examples; Richardson said she would email links and speak to other fairs and competitors before bringing a purchase or contract decision to the board.
