Trustees voted to waive a $300 additional BZA hearing fee for Garin and Tony Smith due to an omission on a prior application; to accept the Ohio Department of Transportation Township Highway System Mileage Certification report (79.922 miles); and to schedule Community Clean Up Days (Junk Days) April 23–25, 2026, for township and Village of Batavia residents with proof of residency required.
The board approved membership in the Southwest Ohio Purchasers for Government (SWOP4G) for $35 and joined the Clermont County Historical Society for $500. Trustees authorized a $34,000 funding request to the Batavia-Union Cemetery Board (an increase of $6,000 from 2025) to help cemetery operations.

Personnel and contracts: After an executive session on personnel, trustees approved a promotion and pay increase for Brianna Ramsey to a newly created Executive Assistant position effective Feb. 23, 2026, and authorized advertising for a full-time Administrative Assistant at $25 per hour. The board also authorized Administrator Karen Swartz to proceed with bidding documents for the township’s waste-services contract, which expires Oct. 31, 2026, through the Adams Clermont Solid Waste District.
