TAC approves consent agenda and May minutes; announces grants and retirement

At its June 7 meeting the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission Transportation Advisory Committee approved the consent agenda and the minutes of May 2, 2022, both by unanimous vote.
The meeting included member announcements: the 2022 VTrans Bicycle and Pedestrian Grant Program had an application deadline of June 8; the VTrans Municipal Roads Grants-in-Aid program invited letters of intent due June 24; and the federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) discretionary program was highlighted as a new funding source under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Executive Director Charlie Baker recognized Dennis Lutz and thanked him for his years of service to the Town of Essex and the CCRPC; Dennis said Aaron Martin will be the new TAC representative for Essex and that he will remain involved on a part‑time basis this fall.
The TAC noted the next meeting is scheduled for July 5, 2022, but that it may be cancelled.
