The Batavia Township Board of Trustees voted Jan. 5 to approve Case B-1-25ZPD, a rezone request for a 0.11-acre portion of parcel P#050118.177P at 7 Lori Lane to allow a 7-Brew drive-thru coffee/beverage facility.
Jonathon Wocher, the zoning consultant, presented the staff report and recommended approval; developer Allan Wiley described the project and said the site will provide employee-only parking. The Zoning Commission had recommended approval at its December meeting.
Randy Perry moved to approve the rezoning and Danielle Wessel seconded; the board recorded unanimous yes votes.
The approval changes the parcel’s zoning from R2A (Residential Multi-Family District) to B2 (General Business District) for the described portion. No members of the public provided opposing testimony during the hearing recorded in the meeting minutes.
