The Mineral County Board of Social Services voted April 27 to accept the minutes of its March 30 work session and to approve payables for March totaling $1,270,990.90.
A committee member moved to accept the record of proceedings and the financials; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The chair then introduced an update to the county's ADA plan, an ADA complaint form and a Title VI (referred to in the transcript as "title 6") policy and complaint form. A committee member moved to approve the package; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor.
"We approve the ADA plan and ADA complaint form and the title 7 policy or title 6 policy and complaint form," a board member said during the motion.
The board did not record roll-call tallies in the transcript; the chair asked for and received unanimous affirmative votes. The approvals will allow the Department of Social Services to distribute and post the updated policies and complaint procedures and close the items on the agenda.
No public testimony opposed the measures during the brief discussion. The board adjourned after completing the day's workshop business.
