At its March 10 meeting the Board of City Service Commissioners approved the March 6 meeting minutes and accepted class classification reports for new and temporary seasonal Election Commission positions (file 251927). The board also granted a six-month extension of probation for Jamere Conley (file 251929), extending the probation from March 31, 2026 through Sept. 26, 2026, because Conley did not obtain the required commercial driver permit/license until late February. HR administrator Andrew Simons confirmed the employee was aware of the request.
Commissioners also approved a request from Public Works to re-exempt the operations division director position to pay range 1 SX (file 251936). The department told commissioners the position supervises snow-and-ice-control operations and roughly 500 employees; an HR memo from Kristen Hennessy Urban supported the re-exemption as a senior management position. All motions were seconded and approved by voice vote.
