The Village of Lindenhurst Board met in executive session on Jan. 27, 2025, to review a staff list of prior executive-session minutes recommended for approval and public release, Mayor Dominic Marturano said.
Village Administrator Clay Johnson presented the list of executive-session minutes staff recommended be approved and released to the public. "After review and discussion, it was the consensus of the Board to move forward as recommended by Staff," the minutes state.
Trustee Patty Chybowski moved to leave executive session; Trustee Dawn Suchy seconded the motion. A voice vote recorded six ayes — Trustees Pat Dickson, Pat Dunham, Patty Chybowski, Dawn Suchy, Heath Rosten and Ron Grace — and no nays. The minutes show the board moved out of executive session at 8:19 p.m.
The meeting record includes signature lines for Mayor Dominic Marturano and Village Clerk Melissa Forsberg and an approval line that reads "Date Approved 7-28-2025." The minutes do not record a separate roll-call vote on the release of specific prior minutes; the record reflects staff recommendation and board consensus to proceed.
The special meeting was brief and procedural; no other agenda items or public commentary are recorded in the executive-session minutes.
