Crye called the meeting to order, First Baptist Missions Pastor Jim Gibson gave the invocation, and Commissioner Louie Alford led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The commission recorded twelve members present, establishing a quorum. Commissioner Howard Lewis Thompson moved to approve the minutes of the Dec. 16, 2024 regular voting session; Commissioner Bobby Goins seconded. A roll-call vote recorded 12 ayes, 0 opposed, and 2 absent, and the motion passed.

The body then considered the published consent agenda, which included routine items such as disposal of a 2018 Sheriff’s Office vehicle and lists of notaries to be commissioned. Commissioner Bobby Goins moved to adopt the consent agenda; Commissioner Mike Hughes seconded. The motion passed unanimously on roll call.
With no additional agenda items presented for the public voting session, Chairman Crye moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:11 p.m. The commission announced the next voting session for Monday, Jan. 13 at noon.
