Mrs. Robin Thompson called the Beaver Area School District Board to order on March 30, 2026, and the board moved promptly to take up two items concerning the Beaver County Area Vocational Technical School (BCCTC) after they were pulled from the consent agenda.
On a motion by Director Steven Neeley, seconded by Luke Berardelli, the board approved an extension of the BCCTC Articles of Incorporation for a fifty-year term. The motion carried with all nine directors recorded as voting aye.
The board then approved a motion, also moved by Neeley and seconded by Berardelli, to remove Director Victoria Bartholomew as the BCCTC alternate and appoint her as the district's representative to the Beaver County Area Vocational Technical School Authority Board. That motion also passed unanimously.
The changes were taken from the consent agenda after Mrs. Thompson announced revisions at the start of the meeting. No public comment was recorded on these items during the meeting.
The board's votes were recorded as unanimous for both actions. Next procedural steps for implementing the changes (for example, filing amended articles or notifying BCCTC) were not specified in the meeting materials or on the record.
