Castle said the court works with collection agencies and noted capacity limits in the jail that shape enforcement decisions. She encouraged outreach and reminded council members that court staff can assist residents with records and appointments.
The council received the update and asked clarifying questions about collections and pending cases; no policy changes or new enforcement directives were adopted at the meeting.
