Board awards 2026–2028 latchkey contract to Mooresville Parks & Recreation District; member abstains

Before the vote, Mr. Matt Saner announced he would abstain because of his position on the Mooresville Parks Board. The board then voted on a motion by Deon Brimmage, seconded by Jennifer Reed; the motion carried 4-0 with one abstention recorded.
