Mooresville schools honor student artists, robotics team and swimmers at March board meeting

The Mooresville Consolidated School Corporation board opened its March 10 meeting with announcements of donations and student recognitions. The board noted donations from Aryn Atwood and AA Septic before staff members presented winners for Youth Art Month from Neil Armstrong Elementary.
Emily Lepore announced the Waverly Robotics Team; Miss Vest and Mrs. Caudill introduced individual team members who described recent accolades and gave a brief presentation. The board also heard from Wes Upton and coaches Ervin and Theriac, who highlighted members and accomplishments of the Mooresville High School boys’ and girls’ swim teams.
Board President Timothy Cummins presided over the recognitions portion of the agenda. The presentations were ceremonial and no board action was taken on these items.
The board moved on to routine business after acknowledging the students and coaches.
