The Louisville Metro Code Enforcement Board on April 10 gave the owner of 2411 Bradley Avenue 90 days to achieve total compliance after staff reported long‑running building‑condition violations that trace to 2022.
Tammy Goatley, a code enforcement supervisor, summarized inspection history and photos showing persistent peeling and flaking paint and related exterior deficiencies. Board members pressed owner Lewis Adamson for a specific timetable after he described plans to remove and replace failing windows, lintels and other elements but attributed delays to lien coordination and inspector scheduling problems.
Adamson told the board he expects the larger reconstruction to proceed and said, "it will be completed within 90 days," while describing barriers to faster work. The board, noting the multi‑year history, set July 10 as the deadline for total compliance and warned that fines could be collected if the work is not finished by that date.
Board member Chris Watland said the board was giving a final extension after years of notice and cited the need for a concrete plan. The owner reiterated that most elements will be removed and rebuilt and that scaffolding or lift equipment will be used for safety during window replacement and painting.
The board will reconvene this matter on July 10 for a status report; if the work is completed earlier, the owner was asked to notify his inspector so the case can be closed sooner.
