The consent calendar included: Ordinance No. O-24-837 adopting the Tahoma School District 2024–2029 Capital Facilities Plan and establishing school impact fees to be collected by the city on behalf of the district; Ordinance No. O-24-838 adopting the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority/King County Fire District #43 2025–2030 Six-Year Capital Improvement Plan and establishing fire impact fees; Ordinance No. O-24-839 adopting the 2025 Development Fee Schedule; and Ordinance No. O-24-840 specifying the increase in general property taxes for the 2025 fiscal year. The consent calendar also included Resolution No. R-24-1921 (city prosecution services contract), R-24-1933 (agreements with Maple Valley Historical Society and Lake Wilderness Arboretum Foundation for operational maintenance funding), R-24-1940 (public works stormwater cleaning contract) and R-24-1942 (grant agreements for 2025 human services and economic/community event grants).
A motion to approve the entire consent calendar was made by Councilmember Victoria Schroff and seconded by Councilmember John Herbert; the motion carried, 6-0.
