Resident urges action on decades-old screening wall at Lake Bend Estates

Hogan, who identified himself as a longtime Rowlett resident, described frustration with the pace of progress and said the neighborhood wants to see concrete results rather than continued delay. "If we start to see any action on this city wall, we'll definitely be bouncing off the walls as a neighborhood of Lake Bend Estates," Hogan said, closing with a cultural reference and a plea for the city to do more.
The presiding official thanked him and suggested civic-engagement avenues such as the Arts and Humanities Commission's writing contest as an outlet for residents' creative work, but no formal action was taken during the citizens input period. The council moved on to community updates after public comment closed.
