The chair called for a show-of-hands vote; the motion carried 6–0.
The action followed a closed executive session held under Texas Government Code §551.074 (personnel), where the council deliberated the employment agreement for Christophe Thomas Bauer. The chair announced the vote and thanked Bauer after the motion carried.
