Waller County approves community‑center rental renewal for 4‑H horse club

Guidry requested renewal of the club’s $25‑a‑month contract to rent the Waller County Community Center for monthly business meetings. Commissioners praised the club’s long history and community contributions; one commissioner estimated the horse club has been in existence “over 30 to 40 years.”
After brief remarks and no opposition, the court moved and seconded the item and approved the rental renewal for 2026 by voice vote.
The court’s approval covers ongoing use of the community center for the club’s regular second‑Tuesday meetings and reflects the commissioners’ stated interest in supporting community organizations that provide volunteer services and youth development.
