PSBA manager Tim Crane outlines role reading legislation, organizing grassroots outreach

Tim Crane, manager of government affairs and educational policy at PSBA, introduced himself and described his duties supporting local school districts in Harrisburg. He said he has been with PSBA since March 2025 and that his work centers on monitoring and preparing legislative materials.

He described PSBA as drawing on a range of member experience, including former school board members and those with bus-advocacy backgrounds, and said the association works with legislators of both parties to "provide the best opportunity for local schools and for students."

Crane added a personal context for his perspective: growing up, he attended three different Pennsylvania school districts, an experience he said helps inform his current work in Harrisburg.
