Andrea Morgante asked why funding to address soil contamination had not been included in the original project budget. Matthew Langham replied that the level of contamination was not known or discovered through the scoping process. Following that clarification, Barbara Elliott moved to approve the proposed TIP amendment; Andrea Morgante seconded and the committee voted unanimously to adopt the change.
CCRPC staff will update TIP documents to reflect the amendment and monitor any necessary environmental response actions tied to the project. The minutes record the motion and unanimous approval but do not specify funding amounts or a remediation schedule.
