TAC approves updated TIP amendment policy to streamline amendments

Christine Forde, senior transportation planner for the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, summarized proposed, mostly procedural updates to the CCRPC’s Transportation Improvement Program Amendment Policy, saying the policy “was last updated in 2011.”
The edits in the agenda packet are intended to clarify amendment procedures and to reflect current practice, Forde said. After brief discussion and a request to correct two spelling items in the minutes, Barbara Elliott moved to approve the proposed changes; Nicole Losch seconded the motion. The TAC voted unanimously to approve the TIP amendment policy updates.
The adopted changes update the committee’s internal amendment steps and documentation expectations; CCRPC staff will incorporate the edits into the formal policy document and circulate the revised policy to members and the Board as appropriate. The committee did not identify any substantive programmatic changes during the discussion.
The motion to approve was recorded in the minutes with Barbara Elliott as mover and Nicole Losch as seconder; the minutes show the vote passed unanimously.
