Nancy gave a detailed update on the authority’s podcast, saying the show had recorded 11,511 downloads and 99 episodes and that a 100th episode will be released on Monday.
“ We are at 99 episodes, and Monday's release is gonna be a 100,” Nancy said. She previewed recent and upcoming guests—Carolyn Kagan of the Alliance Center, Dr. Tanya Elliott (internal medicine and immunology), and guests for National Minority Health Month and Black Maternal Health Week—including Tiffany Donaldson of the Connecticut Health Foundation and Marcela Nunez-Smith of Yale’s Equity Research and Innovation Center. Nancy said the podcast team planned a sponsorship and participation campaign with Connecticut Public that will run from June through the end of the year.
Nancy noted international listening and said top countries included the United States, Germany and Singapore; top cities included Bristol, Ashburn, Virginia, and Hartford, Connecticut. She asked committee members to like, subscribe and help promote the podcast to grow audience reach.
The committee responded positively and encouraged staff to continue leveraging the podcast to connect with partners and residents.
