After questions about current property use and details, Commissioner Scott Briley moved that staff check property details and accept the conservation-easement request; Commissioner Craig New seconded the motion, which carried 4-0. The motion directs town staff to verify property details and return to the council with findings before any transfer occurs.
No immediate town funds were requested in the meeting; the easement acceptance is conditioned on staff verification and follow-up as recorded in the council minutes.
