The CCSD 168 business office reported several Freedom of Information Act requests received since the previous board meeting and summarized the records sought.
The presenter said requests included materials from Energy Systems Group, LLC and a Cook County case listed as N 20250617; one request was received 04/23/26 (the presenter cited dates in April 2026) and another on 03/30/26. The office said requesters sought pricing structures, purchase orders, executed master transportation agreements (including extensions and renewal assignments), communications such as emails and text messages, and records of payments to nonperson entities.
The presenter also said a FOIA sought the executed master transportation contract or master transportation agreement and related extension and assignment documentation. No board action or vote resulted from the report; the business office will respond to FOIA requests according to statutory timelines.
Separately, the business office reported routine finance items: April payrolls and vendor payments processed; annual-audit work is underway and auditors will present final results when complete; insurance will fund replacement of a gym floor at Red River Junior High that was damaged during heavy rains; and the district is interviewing architects with a recommendation expected later this week.
