City administrator recommends sash replacements for City Hall windows, within $30,000 budget

Scott said the work will address rotted sashes and sticking casement mechanisms and that the proposal fits "very close within the budget that we have" (the current-year budget included $30,000).
He estimated additional staining and finishing costs would be a couple thousand dollars for time-and-materials labor. Aldermen asked questions about whether formal action will be required in the account; staff said the item will be on next week's agenda for action.
