At its Feb. 17 meeting the Wauconda Village Board approved the consent agenda, which included approval of the Feb. 3, 2026 minutes, payment of bills totaling $892,854.51 for the period Jan. 24–Feb. 6, 2026, and resolutions ratifying license and access agreements related to the Banks Lake Outfall Improvements Project.
The clerk read the consent items aloud, naming license and access agreements between the village and John Evans, Red Veil Enterprises LLC, V Capital LLC and David and Cecilia Monroe for work tied to the Banks Lake Outfall Improvements Project. After no items were removed from the consent agenda, the mayor moved to approve and the board approved the consent agenda by roll call. The transcript records Trustees responding "Yes" and one declared absence during the roll call.
Separately, during the special meeting portion the board opened a public hearing to announce the president and board's intent to sell not-to-exceed $6,600,000 in general obligation bonds (alternative revenue source) for the village. The mayor asked for public comment and none was offered; the special meeting adjourned at roughly 05:46 a.m. as recorded in the minutes.
The transcript does not provide an ordinance or bond issuance schedule beyond the notice of intent; the board did not take further action on the bond matter during the regular meeting portion recorded in the transcript.
