The Red Bud City Council on May (date in packet) approved routine financial business and a broad omnibus consent package during a meeting called to order at 6 p.m.
Mayor (speaker 4) called for a motion to approve the financial statements in council packets; the motion was moved by a public safety official (speaker 6), seconded and approved on a roll-call vote. The council then voted to approve estimated and listed bills from the packet and subsequently approved the consent agenda (items A–Q) after no items were pulled for separate discussion.
Council members also approved an omnibus motion combining multiple new-business items (agenda items 12a1–9 and 12b1–2) to expedite consideration. That omnibus motion was moved, seconded and carried on roll call.
Mayor (speaker 4) thanked staff and volunteers for recent responses to local incidents and noted upcoming calendar items and routine committee schedules.
The meeting record shows repeated roll-call confirmation and the recurring notation “motion carries” for these votes.
