Dr. Mary Lokuta moved approval of the Consent Calendar, and Leslie Wright seconded; the roll-call vote was 7–0. The Consent Calendar included approval of the March 9 meeting minutes, two treasurer’s reports (ending Feb. 28 and March 31, 2026), acceptance of donations from individuals and organizations, and routine items such as field trip and scholarship approvals (none submitted).
The board accepted retirements announced in the minutes: Mary Ann Grow (Reading Educational Assistant, RCI), Keith Arndt (custodian, PVE), and Karen McCormick (Educational Assistant for Early Learning and 4K), with stated effective dates in June 2026. The board also approved staffing assignments including Olivia Paukner (special education teacher), and approved the hiring actions introducing Brian Johnson as Director of Student Services and Tamara Sutor as Assistant Director of Student Services, both effective July 1, 2026.
Separately, the board approved issuance of educator contracts for certified staff for 2026–2027 and licensed non-represented contracts for 2026–2027 on unanimous roll-call votes. The board also approved modifications to administrator contract language and authorized two-year administrator contracts for 2026–2028.
President Troy Pankratz congratulated the retirees and thanked donors during the meeting. The minutes list the accepted donations in detail and confirm the payments and contract authorizations.
