An administrative services staffer described the installation as a single, brick-mounted foundation with a V split (replacing two boards) and said the new unit will provide higher resolution than the town’s current signage. Members discussed dimensions; one attendee read specifications that the unit will be 12 feet tall by 10 feet wide overall, with the active screen area about 5 by 10 feet.
"It's taking one board which is actually two sided, and make it into a V," a staff member said. "It'll really look nice out there in that corner."
The board moved, seconded and voted to approve the purchase. The cost was noted as higher than initially expected and staff said directional signs would be revisited in next year's budget to cover remaining signage needs.
