CROSSVILLE — The Crossville City Council approved renewal of the city’s net position policy during a special called meeting.
Staff said the policy was originally approved several years ago and is supposed to be approved annually; staff explained the council missed the approval last year and requested the council reapprove it for the current cycle. "This is the policy that was approved, a couple of years ago, actually. This is a renewal of that policy. We missed approving it last year, but it's supposed to be approved annually," the staff member said.
The Chair entertained a motion to approve the net position policy as submitted. The motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The meeting record reflects the council’s unanimous voice approval (recorded as 'Aye').
