Commissioners sign order dissolving Cedar Creek Hospital District; funds to support Trinity Valley scholarships

The presiding official credited Representative Keith Bell for legislative assistance in Austin that made the dissolution possible.
A motion to approve the signing of the dissolution order was made and seconded; the court recorded the motion as carried by voice vote. The court noted checks had already been sent and that the auditor had a one-third share to forward to Trinity Valley.
Next steps: the auditor will execute the disbursement to Trinity Valley and staff will record the dissolution per statutory requirements. No further administrative actions were announced on the record.
