At its Dec. 9 meeting, the Kaufman County commissioners approved several routine administrative items: an interlocal renewal with the city of Oak Ridge for five loads (about 22 tons) of rock to be placed on County Road 139; multiple line-item transfers and budget amendments (including insurance reimbursements); and payment of accounts-payable invoices, jury payments and regular payroll.
The county auditor, identified in the record as Miss Archer, asked the court to approve those financial items and said the documents had been distributed for review in advance. The court approved the transfers and the claims by voice vote.
Later in the meeting the court voted to enter executive session at about 9:09 and then exited at about 9:20. The judge stated there was no action to be taken as a result of the executive session. The court then approved a motion to adjourn.
These matters were handled as routine financial and interlocal actions; the record does not include roll-call vote tallies or further public discussion on the executive session topics.
