Green introduced himself at the dais with his wife and summarized his background in facility maintenance, construction and landscape architecture, noting prior work with Amarillo ISD and West Texas A&M University. "Lubbock is home and certainly, Wendy's home as well... This is an exciting opportunity for me," Green said.
The court moved to appoint Green, the motion was seconded, and the court voted to approve the appointment. County staff will proceed with onboarding and administrative steps to place Green into the position on the stated effective date.
