Staff report progress — and concerns — on Tyler and UKG rollouts
Summary
County staff said Tyler financial modules are functioning for payables/receivables and imports for the healthcare center, but flagged outstanding integration work for UKG payroll and potential risks to the healthcare-center payroll connection that require follow-up meetings with vendors.

Rebecca gave a status update on the county’s enterprise software implementations.
On Tyler, staff reported three months of phased implementation with accounts payable and receivable workflows moving forward, completed import templates for the healthcare center and ongoing weekly meetings with fiscal staff to develop reports and efficiencies. "Accounts payables going smooth, accounts receivable going well... We have the template for imports for the healthcare center and that's completed," Rebecca said.
On UKG payroll, staff cleared year-end processing but described ongoing cleanup work and the use of a contracted UKG specialist to finish implementation. Committee members expressed concern about a console/integration that was promised and whether the UKG solution would deliver the data transfer the county expected. A health-center representative asked for clarification on which payroll tasks would remain local and which would flow into the county system.
Staff said they would set follow-up meetings with vendor consultants and return with more detailed implementation steps. The highway department and other offices were reported to be very close to operational use of Tyler modules but had limited availability because of staffing constraints.
County leaders emphasized the importance of resolving the remaining integration points so staff do not have to enter identical data twice and to preserve payroll and tax reporting integrity across systems.
Rebecca and other staff will report back with vendor recommendations and schedule details at upcoming meetings.
