Chairperson James Blum suggested tabling the item until the applicant could be present to answer detailed questions about road access and other site matters, but after brief discussion the commission voted to allow the applicant to decide whether to proceed with the pre‑application process.
Commissioner Carol Pierce raised concerns about road capacity and safety, noting that the corner near the proposed subdivision is busy and that 30–40 structures could compound visibility problems. Staff did not request further formal action at the meeting; the commission’s vote left next steps to the applicant, including whether to advance to a formal application with additional engineering and mapping.
