Chris Ong, representing Delasoft, told the Winnebago County Facilities Committee the company's RevJet 360 suite manages leases, invoicing, insurance, transient parking and asset inspections and said Delasoft would provide the system to the county at no charge under a memorandum of understanding.
"For you guys, we'll have an MOU and then be free for you guys, period," Ong said, adding the product sits on AWS GovCloud and that Delasoft would work with county IT on authentication and security integration. Ong described existing installations with other airports and said a typical rollout takes two to three months with several meetings to set security and single-sign-on options.
Why it matters: County staff flagged constrained IT resources and a prior attempt to build a similar system in-house. A vendor-provided system could reduce development time and provide features (including transient parking QR-code sign-ins and ties to the county's Tyler system) that staff said would otherwise take thousands of hours to replicate.
Next steps: Committee members asked for a vendor presentation at a future meeting; Delasoft said it would prepare either an in-person or virtual demo and share installation details and security specifications with county IT.
Representative quote: "If IT doesn't wanna do this, I mean, it's gonna take a lot of time... we have a fully featured product done that we can implement into your structure here," Ong said.
The committee did not take formal action on the vendor offer during the meeting but asked staff to schedule a demonstration for the full committee or a future Facilities Management session.
