House adopts conference committee reports and consent-calendar measures; some members record 'no' votes on a Senate bill

Representative Kahalua then moved to adopt conference committee reports numbers 2-26 through 10-26 and to have the accompanying bills, as amended, pass final reading; Representative Morikawa seconded.
On final reading, the chair reported that the majority voted aye. The minority also voted aye with exceptions: on page 2, CCR 2-26 (Senate Bill 2466, HD 1, CD 1) the transcript records the following 'no' votes from minority members: Alcos, Cochran, Garcia, Gideon, Matsumoto, Mora Oka, Shimizu, Reyes Oda and Pierrick. The presiding officer confirmed all votes had been cast and declared the listed bills passed final reading.
Several members asked to have reservations entered into the journal and some requested permission to insert written comments. The House adjourned until 6:30 p.m. tomorrow.
