She said 62 fee types would increase, 12 would decrease, 14 would remain unchanged and three fee types would be removed (those related to pet shops and groomers, which were removed from the county ordinance in June). She highlighted a technology enhancement fee that is applied to annual operational licenses but not to temporary event permits or nonprofit operations.
Stanek also described how a change in permitting software vendors affected the division's internal services charges: moving to a cloud'based vendor previously increased internal-service expenses, but a more recent vendor change reduced costs for FY26; she said the schedule attempts to account for those operational cost differences.
The board did not take formal action; staff said the item was informational to provide background ahead of the Board of Supervisors public hearing and to solicit any concerns the Board of Health wished to pass along.
