Parmer County sheriff reports 27 inmates and $317,000 in inmate housing revenue

Sheriff Eric Geske reported to the Parmer County Commissioners Court that the county jail was housing 27 inmates at the time of the Dec. 9 meeting, including 20 Parmer County inmates, six from Lamb County and one from Floyd County.
Geske told the Court the county had earned $317,000 this year from housing inmates for other counties. The minutes record that the Sheriff had no other matters to discuss.
