Haskell County commissioners approved several routine items in their meeting, including a grant, two equipment-disposal resolutions, appropriations and the purchase of a motor grader.
The commission unanimously approved a $5,000 grant from the Choctaw Nation to provide equipment and supplies for the Haskell County Sheriff's Office. A motion to approve the grant was made and seconded and the vote recorded as carried; commissioners discussed signing the grant check during the appropriation process.

Commissioners reviewed and approved appropriations, transfers and checks to be paid; one routine payment referenced was a check associated with OSBI program hardware and video upgrades.
On a capital-equipment purchase, the commission opened sealed bids for a motor grader for District 3, reviewed specifications including hours and horsepower, and accepted a $200,000 bid from Kirby-Smith. Roll-call voting was recorded with two commissioners indicating "yes" and one commissioner stating they could not vote on the item; the motion carried.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn that was approved by the commissioners.
