The San Dimas City Council moved and approved the bulk of the consent calendar April 28 and then read two proclamations that had been pulled for recognition.
Council members read a proclamation recognizing May 2026 as Professional Municipal Clerks Week and singled out city clerk Deborah Black for the council’s appreciation. Council members praised her responsiveness and guidance; one member thanked her for daily assistance and another for personal outreach when deadlines required attention. The council also read a proclamation recognizing Public Service Recognition Week and thanked city staff, law enforcement and other public employees for their service.
A councilmember moved to approve the pulled items and the council voted 5–0 to adopt the proclamations and finalize the consent calendar. No substantive policy items were amended; the votes were recorded as unanimous.
The proclamations will be shared with the clerk’s office and the staff recognized at future city events.
