MONTEVALLO, Ala. — The Montevallo City Council used part of its March 23 work session and regular meeting to receive routine public-safety, community-outreach and economic-development updates and to read two proclamations.
Police and public safety: Police Chief Burr reported monthly activity totals, noting 60 reports for March and 257 total reports for the period covered in Appendix 1. Council Member Kenneth Dukes said Fire Chief Davis was unable to attend and no written fire report was submitted.
