City staff explained that when the roundabout required a gravity sewer line, the city fronted the work and later will recapture costs through a ‘‘latecomers’’ reimbursement agreement affecting four parcels. "They just slightly under $88,000 to be recaptured through this agreement on those properties," a staff member reported during the hearing.
Chris Searcy (staff) summarized the project history, noting soil issues and administrative costs increased the original estimate of about $60,000 to the amount now expected to be recaptured. The council moved and the resolution passed by voice vote; there was no roll-call tally recorded in the meeting transcript.
The resolution authorizes recording the reimbursement agreement against the four parcels and directs staff to proceed with the process described in the staff report. No appeals or amendments were made during the meeting.
