Hidalgo County approves $5.07 million Tyler Technologies SaaS agreement; purchases for community center also approved

Separately, the court approved purchases using Community Development Block Grant funds for Precinct 1’s wellness activity community center: professional audio/video equipment for $45,762.83 (JSJ Rodriguez Inc., DBA Telepro Communications) and a Trackman golf simulator for $61,890. Staff noted the purchases are funded from fiscal-year CDBG allocations.
The Tyler agreement was presented with an exemption request for an Espinosa Law Firm engagement for the Hidalgo County Veil Service Commission; the court approved the exemption and the procurement items in the same session. Commissioners voted by voice and recorded no roll-call objections during the meeting.
