Commissioners approve preliminary and final plats for subdivisions in Precincts 3 and 1

The court also approved the final plat for Blue Vista Phase 1 in Precinct 1. Planning staff said the preliminary plat was approved on April 2, 2024; engineering drawings have since been reviewed and the developer's contract approved in August 2024. The owner posted the required financial guarantee and requested county maintenance of roads; approval of the final plat authorizes recording with the Grayson County records department.
Commissioners approved both plats by motion and voice vote. The meeting record does not provide detailed conditions of approval beyond those read into the record by planning staff.
