For the Pen Ridge bridge repair (2526‑13), the low responsive bid identified was Anderson Marine; the board voted to proceed with the administrator's recommendation after staff review, with one commissioner abstaining because he had performed some of the design work for that project.
Commissioners said they will convene a special meeting if necessary to complete awards for the largest packages and will coordinate staff reviews to ensure the county stays within budget for dune restoration and other projects.
