The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners on May 6 approved appointments to a range of local advisory and service boards and urged residents to apply for remaining vacancies.
During the administrative portion of the meeting the board confirmed appointments including Janette Ivers and Herb Cargill to the Ambulance Board; Killian Coleman to the Fair Board; Sean Vandenberg and Ron Visdak (transcript variants) to the Eureka Fire Service Area; Gary Wood to Lincoln County Rural Fire District 1; Jamie Campbell and Jordan Graves to the Troy Park District; William Vander Warden and Gary Lynch to the Upper Yak service area; and Joseph (Joe) Taylor and Tina Oliphant to the Libby Park District. Each appointment was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Staff noted several boards still have open seats—examples cited included a Port Authority vacancy and additional rural service‑area openings—and encouraged interested residents to apply. The board did not receive public comment on the appointments.
The meeting packet contained applicant lists and, in at least one case, a supporting letter from the board receiving the appointment. Commissioners described several appointees as having relevant experience—Killian Coleman was noted for 4‑H involvement and familiarity with fair operations. No formal roll‑call votes were recorded in the transcript; approval was taken by voice for each motion.
The board moved on after completing the appointments and administrative business.
