Lewis County awards Randall–Packwood slide-repair contract to Midway Underground for $520,245.30

Jeff Soderquist, Lewis County public works director, told commissioners that the Randall–Packwood road slide repair project is recommended for award to the apparent low bidder, Midway Underground of Toledo, Washington, for $520,245.30. Soderquist said the county received 10 bids and that the work will be funded through FEMA.
Soderquist also described a ratification of a professional-services contract with Corolla Engineers to update the Middle Fork Water System plan, for a maximum payable amount of $214,522, to be paid from distressed-county funds.
Both items were presented as part of the deliberation docket and approved by the board during the meeting's vote on deliberation items.
