Trustee Johnson, presenting the finance committee’s work, praised staff and the new director for producing a balanced budget: “Kudos to our staff,” Johnson said.
Trustees moved to approve the fiscal 2026–27 annual budget after the finance committee’s recommendation. The measure passed by roll call vote; the chair declared the motion carries.
The board described the budget as cautious and credited staff for maintaining positive revenue and expense trends. No changes to the budget were made at the meeting; staff will implement programs and report back to the board as needed.
